NDIS

Supporting little beans to move, play and participate – with the help of NDIS funding.

At The Jellybean Gym, we welcome NDIS families with open arms. Our movement and purposeful play classes are designed to support babies and toddlers to build confidence, coordination and connection – all while having fun in a calm, supportive environment.

Our programs can be a great fit if your child has goals around:

  • community participation and getting out of the house

  • building confidence in new environments

  • improving balance, coordination and strength

  • practising gross motor skills in a safe space

  • sensory regulation through movement

  • social interaction with other children and caregivers

We are a movement and play-based program, not a clinical therapy service. However, our classes can complement your child’s existing therapies beautifully.

  • Jellybean Gym classes can generally be claimed under:

0125 – Community, Social and Recreational Activities

On invoices, we describe our service as something like:

“Participation in a community movement-based program to support confidence, physical development, sensory regulation and social engagement.”

This aligns with goals related to community access, physical activity, confidence and social participation.

If we proceed with NDIS provider registration, we will be applying under:

Registration group 0125 – Participation in Community, Social and Civic Activities.

(For now, we can still support self-managed and plan-managed participants – more on that below.)

  • Fees for NDIS participants

Our fees are the same for NDIS and non-NDIS families. Keeping our pricing consistent and transparent is really important to us.

    Group Classes

    • Term enrolment: $28.50 per class

      • Billed upfront per term (e.g. a 10-week term = $285)

    • Casual session: $30 per class (subject to availability)

These are claimed under 0125 – Community, Social and Recreational Activities (Group).

    1:1 NDIS sessions

For some children, a little extra support can make a big difference.

We are open to offering private 1:1 movement and development sessions on request, focusing on:

    • confidence building

    • early gross motor skill practice

    • sensory regulation through movement

    • gentle parent coaching within the session

These can be claimed under 0125 – Individual community participation supports.

    • $65 for 30 minutes, or

    • $110 for 50 minutes

  • Self-Managed
If you self-manage your child’s NDIS plan:

    1. You pay The Jellybean Gym directly for classes (term or casual).

    2. We will issue you an invoice showing:

      • your child’s name

      • dates of classes

      • amount paid

      • support category: 0125 – Community, Social and Recreational Activities

      • service description and our ABN

    3. You upload the invoice and claim through the NDIS myplace portal/app.

This is the quickest and most flexible option.

    Plan-Managed
If your child’s plan is managed by a plan manager:

    1. You enrol in The Jellybean Gym classes as normal.

    2. You give us your plan manager’s details.

    3. We send invoices directly to your plan manager with the correct NDIS wording and codes.

    4. The plan manager pays us on your behalf (no out-of-pocket cost to you, if you have funding available).

NDIA- (or “agency”) managed participants can usually only use registered NDIS providers.

We are exploring becoming a registered provider under 0125 – Community, Social and Civic Activities.

In the meantime, if your child is NDIA-managed, please reach out. We’re happy to discuss options, including:

    • whether any components of your plan are self- or plan-managed

    • whether your support coordinator or planner can assist with alternative arrangements

  • At The Jellybean Gym, we aim to create a low-pressure, supportive environment for both children and parents.

    You can expect:

    • A calm play space designed for babies and toddlers

    • Purposeful play set-ups that encourage exploration and movement

    • Clear class structure with time for free play, guided activities and wind-down

    • Educators who understand that some days are big feelings days

    • Flexibility – you’re welcome to step out, cuddle, feed or take a break whenever needed

If your child uses mobility aids, communication devices or additional supports, you’re welcome to bring whatever they need to feel safe and regulated.

  • We know NDIS paperwork can feel overwhelming.

    We’re happy to provide:

    • A short letter outlining how Jellybean Gym supports your child’s goals (e.g. community participation, confidence, physical development, social engagement)

    • Attendance summaries for plan reviews

    • Clarification of how our services sit under 0125 – Community, Social and Recreational Activities

Just let us know what you need and we’ll do our best to help.
Please note - a small fee will apply for these services

NDIS Administration Fee
A small admin fee of $30 per term applies to NDIS-funded enrolments to cover compliant invoicing and documentation.
